Real Rescues Stand By Their Charges

This is an atypical post for us - but the Justice Committee has been notified that a dog adopted a year and half ago from Noah's Ark needs a new home. The work Noah's Ark began and will someday resume doesn't just end because of a court case. If you can give this dog a home, please contact Seal Beach Animal Shelter. Here' s the information about Sancho:

No impound number but his information- http://www.sbacc.org/RP_AdoptMe.asp?aid=1704 Sancho

Sancho is a real sweetheart. He was in a home for his entire life, but they decided they didn't have enough time for him. Never having been in a shelter environment, Sancho is terrified. Won't you come bring this boy out of his shell?

It's Time To Go For It

The trial date is finally upon us and we all could not be MORE excited!

Yes, you read that correctly -- EXCITED!

There is so much that will come out in this trial and so much that will finally be exposed that we have been waiting for all of you to see and know what we have -- that yes, we are truly excited.

The trial will be held at the Long Beach courthouse on Ocean. We are awaiting the assigment of a courtroom and the selection of a jury. Then the FUN will begin. We encourage you all to join us in the courtroom if you have time. If you are stuck working and can't get there -- look for updates here. You can also send an email to lbac_justice@yahoo.com and ask to be put on the email update list.

Some rules about being at court:
  • Dress appropriately and professionally
  • No cellphones in the courtroom
  • No talking, no gasping, no shaking your head while Quigley lies over and over.

Sorry...that's just the rules.

Alex and Gloria have stayed strong to fight this battle because of people like you that show support. Sadly, LBAC has used this whole thing to try to divide the rescue community and many have fallen for it. Those of you who haven't -- thank you so much! You know, we all could have easily rolled over (like the city of Long Beach was expecting) but from the start we knew the truth and Alex & Gloria made it very clear -- no plea, no settle out of court, no giving up. If you were facing 13 felony counts, could you have been so brave to risk it all? If you knew what Long Beach and Lt. Quigley have been up to -- and you love animals -- you too would have stuck to your guns.

It's a good time to show your commitment to animals! Join us for the trial, see for yourself! And don't waste your time reading LBAC's press releases printed verbatim as news in The Press Telegram. Find out how it goes from a real source if you can't be there!

Thanks for staying strong and weathering the storm. Justice for the animals Quigley has killed from Noah's Ark and that were in her "care" for years is at hand. We did it all for them, we hope you will too!
